The "Tenute Soletta di Umberto Soletta" farm has a short history if compared to cellars with centuries of life but very interesting, made of love and passion for the land from an early age.

Proof of this is the fact that Umberto still cultivates a vineyard and an olive grove that he planted, together with his father, at the age of five.

During his studies, Umberto spent most of his free time in the countryside, his great passion together with engines (as a young man he participated in several Rally competitions). After completing his studies, he dedicated himself full time to working in the fields, thus keeping an important family tradition alive.

This passion has become his profession over time. "the farmer" as he likes to define himself.

In the mid-90s he created the cellar and planted several vineyards, since he is increasingly aware of the fact that the value of a wine also depends on the quality of the grapes and the place where they grow.

Through the carrying out of scrupulous reclamation, but always with the utmost attention to the landscape aspects, he has tenaciously restored the traditional type of vineyard of the place, creating a harmonious relationship between the natural, sometimes wild, surrounding environment and the work of man.

The cultivation of the vineyards follows the disciplinary of the integrated struggle in order to protect the environment and preserve it for future generations from which we have borrowed it. Today, in addition to Umberto, his wife Caterina, his sister Pina and the elderly father work there, who at the age of 95 goes to the vineyard and cellar every day.
